We were thrilled to attend the London reception for the launch of the Centre for Finance, Innovation, and Technology (CFIT), hosted by the City of London Corporation and HM Treasury.
The event was a huge success, and a real pleasure to be invited to. We saw lots of familiar Fintech faces & got to catch up with some old friends plus a few FINTECH Circle members were in attendance too.
The VIP event brought together all the key players from the UK’s financial innovation ecosystem for an evening of inspiring speeches and vibrant conversations.
The Centre for Finance, Innovation, and Technology (CFiT): A Strategic Vision for the Fintech Industry
The Centre for Finance, Innovation, and Technology (CFIT) held its launch event on the in London, and FINTECH Circle was in attendance.
It was a fantastic event, with inspiring speeches and vibrant conversations held amongst all the key players from the UK’s financial innovation ecosystem.
CFIT’s Chair, Charlotte Crosswell OBE, and CEO-elect, Ezechi Britton MBE, shared their strategic vision for CFIT, which included setting fivefold strategic goals in line with Ron Kalifa’s key recommendations in the Kalifa Review of UK Fintech.
Innovate Finance CEO Janine Hirt shared her views as well.
Leveraging Innovation Hubs and Driving National Connectivity
One of the key goals for CFIT is to leverage innovation hubs across the country to highlight the fintech ecosystem by driving national connectivity.
