Simon Hodgkins, Founder & Host of “The Global Discussion,” recently interviewed Susanne Chishti, CEO of FINTECH Circle and FTSE Board Member.

Susanne Chishti started her career working for a fintech company in Silicon Valley 25 years ago, before the term “fintech” was even invented. She then worked for over 15 years across Deutsche Bank, Lloyds Banking Group, Morgan Stanley, and Accenture in London and Hong Kong. Her diverse background has given her a unique perspective on the industry and its potential.
As the CEO of FINTECH Circle, Susanne leads a global community of 260,000+ fintech entrepreneurs, investors, and financial services professionals. She is also the co-editor of the bestseller “The FINTECH Book” series, which has been translated into ten languages and sold across 107 countries. The series includes books on WealthTECH, InsurTECH, PAYTECH, AI, and LEGALTECH.
Susanne Chishti’s impressive achievements have not gone unnoticed. She has received numerous awards, including being named among the Top 32 Fintech Leaders in the UK by Business Leaders in 2020, and the Top 24th Fintech Influencer in the World by Onalytica in the same year. She was also named Fintech Champion of the Year at the Women in Finance Awards in 2019 and Social Media Influencer of the Year in 2018 by Investment Week.
During the interview, Chishti discussed the impact of fintech on the financial services industry. She explained that fintech has disrupted the traditional banking system and opened up new opportunities for innovation and collaboration.
